I prolly shouldn't be drinking tea and eating arnotts assorted creams right now. I prolly should be in bed reading "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" ...or sleeping.

Came home to everyone asleep on the lounge in front of the AC, dog included. I had to fend for myself in the bedroom (that had been shut off from AC all night) with a fan. Finally fell asleep at 3ish, but was joined at 5 by +1, Pink Princess and dog, too hot for all in one bed so moved to lounge, cool enough to be without AC. Woke up by sun belting through windows, reflected off ocean at 6:30.

Fell asleep writting this post 7am.

Youre bored , i had lunch with KRUDD in Melbourne yesterday and listened to his speech.
Without doubt one of the most boring plagiarised and ill conceived speeches ive ever heard , and that was the consensus from those who i spoke to after the luncheon. KRUDD really needs a new speech writer.
They took the pss out of it this morning on breakfast radio.

Thats sounds torture - isnt obama going to ban that? perhaps our pollies can take a page out of the big O's book and ban torture too - by shutting their mouths!

but I'm still bored. but employed. but bored. 19dtg till holidays and 22dtg till ski time. aaaarrrrrrrrgggghhhhh.

I think this morning tops it all.

Our system melted, no I'm not kidding 9 out of 14 blades are warped & melted & smoking.

Nothing is working and it's going to take at least 24 hours to rebuild.

Morning all. Working from home today and its baking here at Bronte. Probably too hot to walk down to the beach at lunchtime! I hope a cool change comes tonite - had to sleep with fan on last night from about 2am.... even though I do feel bad about eco footprint and all that power being used etc. But it was just too yucky.
+1 is wishing he was back in Zermatt in minus temps!

Fan was going all night here as well.

Tomorrow hot, but than southerly change in the afternoon and back to normal summer temps after that going by the BOM.

oh yeh, the fan will be on at ours tonight. I am literally tired of sleep deprivation. +1 still has the doona on the bed most nights (on his side). Freak!

well, he is a Bondi IcebergS swimmer and has been for years - goes most Sundays in winter to do his races etc and i've never really heard many complaints about how cold it is. So yes maybe ice runneth in those veins.
I am a wimp however - even water temps yesterday at Bronte of 21 were too cold for me to stay in more than 5 minutes. Although right now, I reckon i'd throw myself in!! Oven that this home office is!

Too hot - too humid - I fainted at work today from overheating. Must remember to drink more water!
