I'm rather sad to let these go but unfortunately they no longer fit (I went up 2 shoe sizes whilst pregnant and kept 1 in length after-go figure). So I'm letting these go. I'm now a ladies 9 and would imagine these would be good for an 8 or even 7.5 ladies (24.5/25). They are uber warm and comfy. I wore them in Germany for a two week work trip (literally to and from the office) so they are in super condition.

$60 plus postage (I paid a lot for these new. Purchased from snowbound chatswood).

Blurb-
Stroll through the ski village in style and comfort in the Salomon Women's Lhasa Winter Boot. The plush fur lining hugs your foot in warmth while the waterproof split suede leather keeps you dry from the slushy streets. A Contagrip outsole grabs slippery sidewalks with ease. Buckles add fashionable detail to this high-style winter boot.

Bottom Line:
No need to clomp around in clunky winter boots. Get protection and fashion while wearing the Salomon Lhasa Winter Boot.

Nb: the colour of the soles are a little darker than the pics. I had the window behind me.

Gosh I'm soooooooooo sorry trish. I kinda forgot all about these in my wardrobe. Please don't be mad.
Mind you the scarpas are an awesome versatile boot and i love my two pairs where these are fluffy winter luxury. I know I know you would have prefered fluffy winter goodness. ;-) I'm sorry. I promise I did not hide them on purpose. If I'd thought of it at the time I would have offered them up. They were discovered in my corner of the wardrobe that I class goshifihadalifei'dbeusingthese. I threw out 3 otto bin liner size garbage bags of clothes too. Quite the spring clean I had :-)

Oh I'm not really mad, Lol. :-D I've moved three times in the last 5 years so I no longer have that part of my wardrobe you found the boots in although I definately don't have a life!! I'm a shoe a holic in remission. I'm all spring cleaned and moving housed out!!! Anyway, I have some big bills to pay in the next few weeks ( thankyou washing machine for kicking the bucket!!!) and if they are still around then I might just neeeeed them. (enable, enable, enable)LOL.....

Ha! No problem. Keep me posted. They are uber toasty. I wish they fit as they are nice winter shoes for pottering around on a cold winters day.
I have a rather unhealthy shoe fetish. Although mine is for trainers. I have about 15 pairs ranging from la coste to dc's to pumas to adidas (2 pairs actually) and everything in between. I've slashed my running shoes to two pairs. And I now only have two pair of scarpa hiking boots and a pair of low cut ecco hiking shoes. Gosh all this for two feet. Yet I have a very sensible collection of girly going out shoes and boots. Guess my shoes describe me best- casual outdoorsy sporty type :-)

So, what size is your foot Coop (in a normal shoe)? I am still eyeing these off.

I sometimes fit an 8 but am most comfy in a 9 (say for running shoes). I can go put a tape measure in the inside of them to give you the length. I'm also more than happy to post them to you and if they aren't right then send em back.

Right. They are pretty hard to get a really good measurement as they are very padded but the best I can get is around 25/24.5. I'm usually a 25.5 in a ski boot so hope that helps.

Couple of questions Coops, With the split side how waterproof are they if you were walking through snow?( not OZ snow of course!!!) Also I guess being so warm you wouldn't wear any socks would you? The soles don't look grippy or are they???

Socks yes (well I always wear socks with shoes. Just adds to the warmth). I just found the tag of them whilst peeling the side back. They are a 7.5/39.5/24.5 size.

The soles grip pretty darn well. They have these chunky islands of grip (best way to describe it) that means the snow can't get caught in gaps and build up making them slippery. Obviously no shoe is going to be great on ice without some sort of crampon.

The sides I've never had a problem with. The leather overlaps well. You might get that tiny bit of fluff that hangs out the side wet but the side slit doesn't actually open into the shoe

You can also do them up tighter and not much fur shows at all

Whoops wrong image. Oh well

Anyway shout out if you have more questions. :-)

Heehee.:-) No surprises who bought them though, there was really only two of us asking questions I think.... Xena, sorry. I knew you were interested and I also knew I'd cry if I didn't buy them and somebody else did. That and I thought hang it if I'm getting the pants I may as well get the shoes, Lol....
