Back again, after skiing this morning, had a few slow snow runs down supertrail, limited vis, then lightening and thunder, closed lifts, then rain.

Now back in - espresso coffee and homemade date scones with raspberry jam and fresh cream. Very morish.

Thredbo cover - particularly FF is holding up well. Compared to the smigs pic.

Smigs wasnt looking too great before the weather hit and it didnt seem to get much cover back on it from earlier in the weeks snow. Even after the heaviest falls you could still see the dirt/ice patches through a faint layer of white. Hopefully the weather isnt as bad as it looks up there for the folk up there enjoying the SW slide. Mind you Im sure the apres activities tonight will make up for it. graemlins/snow_cool.gif (frog I think we need an icon of a snow man drinking beer ;) )

Now to the important stuff! This mum will only get one full day on the slopes next weekend as +1 and I are going to have a day each of minding the little squirt. Which day will be the pick of them Mr Frog/weather loving folk. (not being greedy but the snow is my addiction and +1 not that fussed about when he skis etc and even if he got to at all)

Lots of lightning and thunder today, lifts have only just reopened again.

Some areas are now showing signs of water damage.

The snow is coming, barometer is dropping which means snow. Still no sago though.

Adelaide is now 12.5 and raining. Yippeeeee!

I elected to be soft and didn't ski. However, it stopped r**ning for long enough for me to go up the quad as a foot passenger, join the crew for hot chocolates at mid-station and get back down before it set in again.

My +1 is always reminding me of this as we have a deal, skirts are skirts and dresses are dresses, while concrete is concrete and cement is powder. ;)

On that note, the snow today was a mix of cement, sand and water, with a touch of real aggregate! Had to use the snot busters today to get through it.

Luv ya skijac LOL

My first timer friends just went to last lifts so I think they had a massive dose of the above and put us snowatchers to shame.
