Most of NZ will see snow start to fall tomorrow and continue for the next week with heavy snowfalls to low levels and very strong to storm force winds meaning many snowfields and lifts will be closed due to wind and snow.
Once the weather clears there could be epic snow over the ditch.
They are at it again. Pinching our powder!!!

Wish they opened up the Melb to QT route earlier, I would so be on a flight next week.

New snow recorded this morning:
Remarks - 30cm - CLOSED
Mt Hutt - 10cm - CLOSED
Coronet - 10cm - OPEN
Cardrona - 30cm - OPEN
Treble Cone - 28cm - Home Basin OPEN, Saddle Basin CLOSED

you forgot to mention Ruapehu.. Whakapapa has had 70cms in the last week, with more to come (FINALLY getting us over the 2m mark)
Turoa, on the other side of 'pehu has had a bit as well, and another ice storm has hit tower 8 of the high noon express.. see link below.
this is the second time the newest lift on the mountain has been damaged by a storm this season, doppelmayer have a lot to answer for in my opinion..

yeah didn't mention the north as the aussies don't usually head that far up.
