I use a optimus nova plus and they are supposed to be the ducks guts,
but the last trip i did the oring that allows the fule (shellite) out of the bottle shat its self, i have since replaced it with a 004 size oring (003=to small, 005=tobig),that is "exellent with hydrocarbons", but even this scolloped in half. maybe the swedes have diffrent sizings to australia.

can any body tell me what size oring fits the open/close thumb screw on the pump for the optimus nova +?

Not sure, but one of the outdoor stores should be able to sell you a service kit like this http://www.campsaver.com/itemdesc.asp?ic=opt0007 (note that website is an OS one, you should be able to source the kit locally)

Remember to use some vaseline when istalling the O-ring to prevent pinching.
