But it is important people understand these lift options live on a piece of paper at the moment.

New lifts are probably a long long way away at this point in time looking at that statement but it is good to know they are thinking of it.

The alteration to the exit from High Noon is a great idea so you don't have skiers and boarders coming and dodging their way through to the lift. I can only imagine instead of heading left and parallelling Fridays it will be a bit further into the trees on the right side.

Finally a better lift ticket scan option.

Most likely for next winter is the ticketing

I was going to say I'd beleive when I see it but in thinking that if perisher get there way then NPWS will have to let Thredders do something... so maybe one day it will be a possibility... but nah I don't think I will hold my breath!

If Thredbo are serious about some of the lifts in that plan it will be interesting to see how they go with approvals.

From what I can tell, most of what they said does not really involve going into new areas that would involve extensive clearing. The only real new bit is the lift down towards Saturday Peak and most of that area is above treeline so less felling of trees involved at least. The other lifts are just making better use of what's already there really.

Particularly like the sound of the Tower 10 to Karels and Upper High Noon chairs. All of Thredbos best off-piste terrain would then be accesible without ever having to ski out to the crappy, crowded, icey, slushy, sugary base areas. If I was ever in position to buy a season pass those lifts would sway me from Perisher to Thredbo.

It's almost as though they see the resort plan you have pottered away on BH ;)

Electronic ticketing = excellent

Interesting.... I hope if they implement all of that no one will grumble that they're paying $150 a day to slide at a "world class resort" ....
