According to mountain staff, a landslide pushed 20-30 cars from Upper CSIRO into a ravine!
meantime
- the grader was shovelling slides off the road;
- Chalet Creek and Whitebridge are a raging sea of brown water. I hope the pipes under the road can handle the massive amount of water! I hope the road holds up.
- there's water on the road as the Delatite and Eildon overflow: Eildon has a river to Strathbogie Road near Merton.
- we were diverted at Yarck away from Yea. We were sent to alexandra;
- seriously the number of traffic cops are massive, all the way to Montrose/Croydon.
