I must say that Snowbird has given me one particularly memorable day.

This particular day we arrived that morning, and we had two feet! of fresh dry powder, choking dry powder, unfortunately it kept snowing and snowing, and snowing and snowing and snowing........

Until the snow was so deep I had to stop skiing, as I could not see - the depth that date was a total of four and a half feet that fell, and the groomers were so deep it was up to my armpits.

No not a midget! Am 5foot6inches high.

This is one day that I was totally confused with so much powder.


To top it off, my friend who we were skiing with, lost one of his skis and it went deep and we don't know where, we dug - hunted and in the end had to admit defeat.

A very expensive lesson, one, wear powder straps, and two, if hiring skis, take out the insurance!

Cost him $800 as it is not one ski cost but the whole pair and bindings.

Lost ski or not for me it'd be the best day every skiing stuff like that, though the day you talk of I would have been under the snow hahaha
