Heavy snow, below-zero temperatures and gale-force winds initially hampered the search for Mr McKay, an IT business owner.
The police ...say the man apparently died after accidentally falling into the river.

Poor guy. :( Don't undersetimate what nature can throw at us!

Sad to hear his actually dead. I'm sure a few were hoping he'd turn up on a beach in Mexico or something.

too sad. a great holiday ends in tragedy. The boys learned just how cold the creeks are in Nisko as they tried to take a shortcut home from Hanazono early last year. Luckily they made it back out wet, cold and very scared about what they nearly did.
