Any of you bullerites interest in a mates rates $100 pp for 2 nights Fri/Sat in a 2 bed per room with ensuite place? Each bed is fully made (no need for pillows or sleeping bags). Communal kitchen. The snow's not great though. Sorry, no one night rates.

Yeti, What's Tiger's fares? I can pick you up at the airport Friday 'after school'. Lil Vet and I can drive past the Tullamarine airport around 6pm. she gets out of skewl around 3.45pm

Oh my goshhhhhhhh!!!!!!!! I would.. but I'm sooooo broke.. I can do the $100 for the weekend, but then add lift passes $77 per day and then food.. and drinking money (lots and lots of drinking money).... ack!!!

I could in a couple of weeks when I get paid though..!! D'oh!!!!

I was offered mates rates but can't help Yeti with first class flights on Qantas, resort entry etc.

except to say arrive Saturday with a small backpak and byo food/bev, try to avoid the jeep fare of $34 by getting into CSIR Carpark and walk 200 yards downhill to the free schuttle at the kiosk,

oh, and get a cheap hangover on blackberry nip :D

I think its interesting that the total cost of everything, and value-for-money and affordability factors, are deterring people who are going overseas as well/instead.

Meantime the owners of lift companies and hotels and eateries will be wondering where everyone is. Answer: according to government report launched by a former executive from Qantas, we'll be looking at o/seas brochures this weekend.
