Ooooooooooooohhhhhhh. I just had a two hour private lesson. I twisted my knee two days ago (typical), I'm full of nasty cold secretions, she pushed me to the ning nong which was great but now I can't walk. Man I think I need to hit the treadmill more.

Beware!!! Snow snakes are out on mt p today ;-) There was also a nice pair of dynastars up for grabs in my yard sale (right under the lift) due to that nasty snow snake. Jumped right out from nowhere!!!

Baaaahh. Who needs to practice short radius turns on crud bumps and sheet ice? me obviously ;-) ;-)

And before I get pics or ban peoples I plan on doing my trip report on the coach home.

Must say it was a gorgeous morning up here. Wind has picked up a little this arvo but it's is just a gorgeous blue bird day!

Hey Coops, Funny that I saw a lot of snow snakes on Mt P also! Must be a good year for them if there are so many of them around!
So how did the yard sale go!!

Tricky little beasties aren't they. It wasn't so much a yard sale vs a good old double eject under the lift on the first steep section in a big old pile of fluff after a slick section. A few good cheers to be had at my expense :-) ah fun and games til someone loses a ski (or two).

coopski (good name that!), do you mind if I ask how much the one day return bus fare cost? thanks in advance.

No worries. It's $126 which gets you return coach (incl the national park fee) big breaky at the ski rider and 7hours on the hill. I love it. If you take a pillow and sleeping bag (very important as coach windows are cold) you sleep on the way down and kick back and listen to tunes on the way home. Plus they play movies. Also earplugs and eye mask a must if you want to sleep when the movie is still playing when you want to kip. They start at port stephens, do pick ups through Newcastle, central coast and in Sydney the stops are pennant hills, carlingford, parra and Liverpool. Plus they are super quick when stopping. Minute or two and your on the bus and going.

Their website is www.pscoaches.com.au
I've done quite a few trips down with them from simply getting them to drop me off in jindy and pick me up (my brother was down with his band so I stayed with them) to their 3day weekends. I think they are a great way to get down for a reasonably priced quick trip without the hassel of driving (especially if your +1 doesn't want to come and there's just been a good dump) Plus their weekend deals staying at skirider are pretty darn cheap if you ask me. Enjoy!

thanks for the info! Very reasonable price. When you factor in fatigue in doing your own driving for a single day trip, you really can't beat it.
greyhound want $216 return for a day, with no breakfast included!
