Dont worry.... as I'm not sking in oz this year you can be guaranteed a metre of fresh every night (the weather will do that just to spite me!)

To say I am disappointed with the massive downgrade (can it even be called a downgrade anymore?!?!?!) is an understatement. I have 33 kids booked in for the second week of the July holidays. We are supposed to be based at Smiggins (which looks awful from the cams). I feel really bad for the kids who have been looking forward to this trip all year.

It's coming. There will be freshies for next week. Latest sat looks good. LAPS charts look very tasty too

Wow what a change from Fridays report, I was looking forward to skiing from my apartment to the lifts, now it looks like I am walking. The only problem with my apartments when the Home trail into the bowl is not open, its a long walk back up the hill.

I can only hope Frog had a brain melt down and totally got it wrong.

DHS, last time you spoke of this early on it fizzed. I know it's there, just let it build first. :)

Been looking around the snowcams for a bit of hope and found this cam at Mt Baw Baw ...one of the nicest snowcam shots that I have seen for a while even though there is no snow in the background. Looks like the iceicles were put there for aesthetic purposes!

I feel sorry for the instructors just milling around in large groups every hour, on the hour. waiting waiting waiting. Aparently they're unpaid unless they get work, pay $15 for the staff bus to get to work, pay rent for crowded accom, and don't get a free lift ticket unless they're at the ski school every hour on the hour. Sounds rather unfair.

Actually if I have a couple of days at Hotham like I did in 2006, it will be fine by me:

You can capture a screen but I tent to save the image to my pictures. Because I'm on a phone (and it doesn't like to add my images) I send the image to my photobucket and use the link to that. :-)
