My weather nerd in training guess is it's a little warm before the main bit hits, but looks like it's cooling down more than expected, or faster than expected.

Perisher have their FB status as "It's wet out there" or similar! So I'd say it's wet out there if they are admiting it!!

it now reads 'It's snowing in Perisher this morning!'

which was updated about an hour ago..

Once the front hits there won't be much moisture left. I did notice that Frog hasn't updated the 1-7 and 8-14 forecast, just the longrange. Maybe he has a surprise for us all. :snow:

If we really do get 30cm's this weekend - I'm glad because we need it, but I'll be totally bummed because I have a damm wedding to go to!! It dumped the weekend of the engagement party last year also!

Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! I must have missed the submit button....what a waste of getting up early. From memory not alot changed, some light snow next week with cold temps for snowmaking.

And for the record Blizzard just means very strong winds and snow....doesn't necessarily mean a lot of snow.

It started snowing at Falls about an hour ago - wet and heavy at first but light and sticky now and coming down nice and constant. Everything is turning white again
