MOrning,

Anybody know how to research knock-down rebuild costs... I have been looking at things like msterton homes but want to get a general idea of what the knock down would cost...

Have a great day

give me a day bb. A good friend of mine has just done it and they say it saved them heaps. Renovating wasn't going to give them the exact home they wanted. Selling and buying what they wanted was too exy and they couldn't find a better location so they did the knock down thing.

She ran a very rigid budget and did all the shopping around for extra bargains and I think the whole job cost them about 650k to get a reall really really fantastic home and pool with all the bells and whistels for a family of five (three boys).

The builder they used wasn't masterton but one of those companies. I just can't recall with my sleepy head, but I'll ask her at school tomoz.

my builder is great too. He's just doing a reno here but he does build from scratch too. www.constec.com.au (http://www.constec.com.au)

p.s. worth starting a thread bb I reckon there have been a few building jobs on this forum lately and not all of them might see your post.

Back from skiing Ruapeho in NZ. Skiing was great, but they won't let you within 500m of the volcano's rim. That though was where the untracked was!

Watching the Wallabies wasn't great. :(
