Moaning all. Grizzle Grumble %$^*## etc. The bones in my foot haven't knitted after 4 weeks, looks like I'll be in plaster for a few weeks yet. Hopefully, I might get in a spring ski. Grizzle Grumble.

Morning - no good in front of it.

I am a snot factory, but at least i am otherwise healthy.

My dad just got diagnosed with Parkinson's and he is a shattered man. Seeing him so broken and scared is killing me.

Sorry to hear that Xena, on the upside there are some wonderful procedures that assist with a lot of the side affects - I have seen the results of these and it is wonderful.

I grew up with a neighbour who had Parks, and I just wish that they had the procedures then that they can do now.

Being positive is one of the key things and looking forward to a full life but he has just switched lanes rather than doing the F1 course.

Understand it and you will find that it is not so frightening, and the more your dad will love you for it.

Chin up girl, you and the rest of the family with time will see that it will bring you closer than you can imagine.

Good luck for your dad.

Geez that's crap for him, Xena. :(

I echo jacski's comments. I think that the diagnosis of something is the scariest time as little is known and understood by the patient and families.

I am so glad that our modern era can usually equip us with the tools and drugs necessary to cope and even recover.

Good Luck to you and Dad.... smile.gif

Sorry to hear X. Look to Michael J Fox for inspiration. He has lived with it for something like 15 years now and his symptoms have actually improved.

Was a great weekend on the snow (and off) with friends. :D

Only pic I have is this. :(
