I think you'll find that's caused by differing ground temps between the woodchip covered areas and the normal grassed areas... at a guess :ninja:

Vet - A friend with a farm said when we were there last that Ethanol has pushed grain purchase prices up (grain for silage crops etc) significantly and to the point where they are looking at other ways to supplement winter feed as it's uneconomical.

Something's gotta give and ethanol isn't the way to go IMO. a few other better forms of non polluting propulsion out there in the pipelines
