How do I attach photos to a thread with an iPhone. I use tapatalk for the forum and have no idea how to add a photo to this either from phone or URL.

Should be "Add Image" button on the top left when you hit reply/post.

Try this - it works some of the time.

In safari, click on an image and hold until a dialogue pops up for open/open in new page/save image/copy. Click copy. It copies the URL of photo - but only where there isn't also a link embedded in the image (in that case it copies the URL of the link).

Paste the url in the usual way in img tags.

I think you got it (at least you've posted the URL of the pic), just forgot the img tags!

Now what's an image tag SA. I can see it in your post so fill me in on what I did wrong. Sorry I'm not usually such a spaz with technology but this ones had me beat.

I give up and apologies for 2 attempts. Sa I thought with your " I thought you meant no parenthesis ie drop the brackets but then I saw the . in the middle. I don't want to keep playing and posting and annoying others so I'll stop.

Yup, you need to have the [ ] just without the .

See what did you do. I think I'm close but sa added some extras in to stop the picture from posting in his instruction. I'm not blonde people I promise. I have a masters degree...just obviously not in attaching photos in tapatalk on the iPhone :-)

You've go the tags right, but this time that URL isn't of the image file itself (look for the .jpg/.png - if you don't see it, it doesn't pick up the file). It's the way the page is written - in this case, click on that image to get the enlarged version, which is of the jpgs directly.
