All Christmassy... We just put the trees up downstairs and upstairs and sons got out on the piano and guitar and sang a few carols... I love this time of year, good times holiday season and hopefully a bit more love in the air for others. 1st of December tomorrow, start of summer and a good time to get into the spirit of it all.

Anyway, just wondering what everyone does during the festive season?? Spicer family, we try and do an act of kindness for someone each day now until Christmas, we have a big traditional roast pork and lamb on Christmas Eve and then Seafood and cold meats and salad on Christmas day. Hope you guys have a great holiday season and stay safe.

Sounds good Spicey, especially the act of kindness bit.

I'm usually a bit of a Christmas junky, but am not feeling it this year. I'm going up to Sydney this weekend for my annual Christmas shopping ritual in the city with my Mum, so hopefully that will put me in the mood. I've got the Christmas cards out that I purchased on special in January ready to start writing them. I've no idea what I'll do on Christmas day this year. My brother will be away visiting his kids, my Aunties are staying home in Nowra if I want to go there. The +1 is working Christmas breakfast and lunch, so he won't be home until 4pm if I'm lucky. My Mum has no idea what she's going to do either. :(

We haven't got anything out yet, been too focussed on finalising loans etc for our new house. I think this weekend will see the start of it though :D

Thanks Pods. We've both got lots of places to go, we just have no idea what to do and everyone we want to be close to is spread far and wide! We haven't had a Christmas day with our family together for 8 years now, and there's only 5 of us!

BH, you should have enough crap packed and stacked to make room for a tree! tongue.gif

I spent five hours on Saturday converting the Flag Pole in my garden to a six metre high Christmas Tree, I even needed to hire a Cherry Picker to reach the top (from Wagga so a three hour round trip to pick it up)

But its Christmas and a time to share so this is what I made

and it turns into this at night

Wow ausi ski bum that looks sensational!

We have our little Christmas tree up already, the unit can't fit much more but this weekend I might even put some Christmas lights on the balcony.

My Family does the European Christmas Eve thing with lots of food, carols and presents at midnight, which works really well, because +1's family does the Christmas day thing. It means however, 2 really big meals in a row!

Christmas is a huge thing in my family, my Mum and Nanna start cooking a week in advance making pâté from scratch, the most amazing desserts and Christmas cookies. Every year they BOTH buy a big ham, and I might point out we have a small family in Oz. Needless to say we are eating Christmas cookies, pâté, ham and much more for months after Christmas!

But…♫ ♪ It’s the most wonderful time of the year ♪ ♫

Wait for Swedes contribution...

Not feeling it at all, PP spots the odd Christmas lights in the village, she doesn't realize they are there all year. Rip Curl have a tree in the shop but that's it.

Without the beach and extended family around it's just not right. All our decos are packed in boxes in Sydney.

BH you think you have a little unit, when we take out a load of clothes washing someone loses a seat. This year I'll have to take a photo of a tree and print a life sized poster for our wall. I guess running a photo print shop has some benefits.

Supreme Chieftain Ghorku'l
Real Name: Ghorku'l Manstrangler
Race: orc
Height: 5'8"
Age: 88
Description: Ghorku'l is the current Supreme Chieftain of the Wythcaer Jarldoms. He is a ruthless leader with powerful and cunning battle tactics. His favored weapon is the Greateaxe and the Warhammer serves as his secondary weapon. He became Supreme Chieftain at the age of 16, by defeating Gornak Wraithmangler. In his 73 years of reigning with an "iron fist", Ghorku'l has defeated a total of 28 challengers. Every orc that has challenged Ghorku'l for Supreme Chiefdom has been decapitated. Fifteen were decapitated while still breathing, while the other thirteen were decapitated after death in battle. Each challenger's remains were taken and buried in the "Grounds of the Dead". Challenges have died down as the strong orcs have either died or accepted Ghorku'l as their rightful leader. His respect from the other orcs came after a war with the former chieftain's clan brokeout after Ghorku'l defeated Gornak. Ghorku'l showed tremendous strength and ruthlessness as he defeated 67 orcs within the week long war. Ghorku'l killed 25 orcs on the last day of the war driving out the remainder of the clan. Ghorku'l was wounded and in tremendous pain after the battle, but he hid his pain by going to his place of rest immediately and warning anyone from coming in to disturb him. After resting for two days, Ghorku'l displayed his battle wounds proudly and encouraged his fellow orcs to show strength. He prayed to Uluboz publicly to display his acceptance of the war god. Ghorku'l Manstrangler, Lawful Evil, multiclass lvl 3 Fighter/lvl 17 Barbarian; Strength-17 Dexterity-17 Constitution-16 Intelligence-8 Wisdom-17 Charisma-10, but 17 to orcan race.
