It's started in Thredbo, but not heavy, dusting on Bobuck Lane, windy and Eagles Nest light is invisible.

The road is now covered, I was going to go back to bed but the excitment just enveloped me and I feel a bit jittery.

I just went out to feel the snow, it's pretty dry, small flakes - a big wind gust hit and most of it blew off the building across from us and the road almost cleared.

4am VIDEO (http://snocam.com.au/snow_conditions.html) from before the wind.

I was out all of this morn at falls and I would say 10 to 15 cms in places, the resort is transformed and the place looks great. It has been snowing all day here and snow guns have been going all day and still going. I would say that accumlation today would equate to 5 cm so far. It's looking good!

Just back from a great days skiing at Perisher. Thats the best 10cm of fresh I've skied this season. Its covered most of the rain affected crud below (although a few icey spots still about as I found out after being ejected from a ski that went from soft snow to ice and back to soft snow again in about 2 seconds).

With tonights snow I'd be guessing tomorrows off piste will make for some mighty smooth turns tomorrow :D

My first two runs through Bushranger, Kosi wasn't running (no surprise). I'll try to get to my run through the Bluff and Cannonball, but feeling a bit exhausted and tomorrow is another powder day so I need rest.

Yeah yeah HTFU and all that, but not many of you have been up since 3:30am snow watching and my cup of cement went down wrong at lunch.

just got back in from my afternoon session here at falls creek, and its magic out there, its been snowing consistenly all day, and when that front hits, tommorrow will be a smashing powderday, my legs are totally exhusted, its hard going riding powder.

To give you an idea how good it was i was screaming happiness on my first run down this morning. Nothing like carving first tracks! btw the snow quality was just so light and fluffy it was very hard to impossible to make snowballs out of it.

Today was a ripper tommorrow will be bliss!

But I'm no weather expert

Kozi chair just started late, de icing I would say.

Snowed most of the day, but only lightly, has started again and settling in the village.

Tomorrow should be good.

Nice video Spaz, unfortunately, I keep turning my head to see where I am going with the video. Only had a massage yesterday with Annie!

The Frog

I think it's unlikely Mazza, looks to be too warm to me. Atleast the winds won't be as bad as they have been though.

At falls creek at the moment and went for a walk to try and get shot of where the old falls creek night cam use to look into, not quite but anyhow.
I am guessing about 10cms of accumulation since last lift this afternoon. its still dumping out there.

Just to give you an idea this table was bare and empty of snow when i got here on monday afternoon!
