Great video Mate however I couldn't make out the depth at Black Sallies.
Is it snowing in the Village again (hard to tell on the cams) as looking at the radar there looks to be quite a bit more coming (heavier falls).
Might hit Thredbo at about 14:00-15:00.

It's not gale force, just blowing around smile.gif

I was just told Thredbo claims 70cm.

I find that hard to believe. Although they really have talked this system up!! And The frog got it right again. He always likes to go a little lower on
amounts though.

I was just told Thredbo claims 70cm. Oh that must be the measurement for the skido that got stuck on Eagles Way, right where the windblown snow is! smile.gif

I guess they shoveled that much to get it out.

When the weather is a bit nicer I'll have to check my other locations and update the depths. That will mean staying on the hill a little longer. I hate this job ;)

Might want to measure Eagles Way ;)

I will check Eagles Way but remember they've been pushing snow to build up the cat track, my tape measure is only 3m. The old merritts falls, now the start of Supertrail will be interesting with windblown.

The groomed area's will also be interesting. Up to now they were 7cm. I'm guessing that's about how much the groomers need before they start bringing dirt through, which they've done a great job of doing.

Great news.
The temp has dropped, so has the barometer and the radar shows lots more snow coming yet. graemlins/woohoo.gif graemlins/snow.gif graemlins/snow.gif

I was just told Thredbo claims 70cm. Is your 46cm base depth or fresh snow from this storm?

Spencers Ck depth updated this afternoon to 70cm so maybe thats where Thredbo got the 70cm from? Their website is saying 45cm fresh from this storm as of 2:30pm.

It looks really nice outside now!

I can barely see High Noon and the snow- real snow, looks much drier and heavier than it's been all day.

Yep it is really coming down, the little village buses have their chains on.

We just walked back from the Apres Bar with Richi, comments being that 1st in line of Kozi chair is important tomorrow.

Oh well I will just have to have fun with my snowtires in going to Canberra tomorrow.

Nah its ok, too many cowboys out there and with the first snow they are acting crazy.

It should be good for those coming down though.

Spaz' +1 is already in Sydney - due back next week, work commitments.

Some nice cold moisture heading towards Thredbo now. Should be there in the next couple of hours.

Vic resorts have probably been belted with snow tonite...
