TC I take it you were the clown beeping his horn about 6 six times at the corner of Heathcote and Nuwarra Rds?

you sure he wasn't looking at his blow wave in the mirror and just thought you were beeping because you liked it?

How frustrating is the drive from the Gong to Syd every day Frog? I don't know how you do it myself. Cronulla to the city is bad enough.....

Your right about the drive to work. how long does it take you to get to work each day frog. i know my commute is tough enough and it takes 3 mintues or 10 if i stop to check if Burleigh is on or not

My 5 minute commute is great. Though it's very annoying in peak ski season if I have to queue to get through the big roundabout!:biggrin:

My drive is nt so bad, mostly highways...only the last bit is bad. Takes about an hour and a bit to get to work and just under an hour to get home. Is fine at this time of year, feels worse in Winter when I've already been on the laptop from 5am for the forecasts.

It's worse for missus frog she drives to North Sydney Mon-Tues.

BB, I'd have to be desperate to do the commute to Cooma. With the crap salaries on offer down here you'd spend half your wages on petrol and vehicle maintenance. Not to mention dodging roos and driving into the sun at certain times of the year. It would be a last resort for me. However, there are people who do it.

My daily commute;
Summer - drive 1.5 minutes b/c my computer is too heavy, it's all downhill and really don't need to start the car. (I do to annoy the neighbors)

Winter - well, you have all seen it on my daily videos, a chilly walk to the bottom of Crackenback chairlift that takes 8 min and I carry my computer and camera gear.

Me no complain.

I know SW and totally agree, I guess at that time it as better than the 1.5hrs it took to drive from Mums place to work. If you got a good salary it might be worth it, mine wasnt thats why it went in favour of the LJ. Another reason I looked at Berridale when i Had hoped to get transferred to our Cooma office.
