I dreamt last night that I was at Heavenly, it was dumping snow and that it shared a ski area boundary with Mammoth Mtn and both mtns were on the same lift ticket.

Hi All

Back from SF this morning... I have a new plan when flying... if you are flying at night I am just hunkering down to sleep the whole trip... no reading, Movies or even mid flight snack... I usually dont sleep very well but 'resting my eyes' seems to have worked... Have been up all day in both directions (and the trip home is usally the hardest).

Afternoon all, missed todays role call, been sanding a door frame, 'steel', with 5 layers of previous paint colours, top coat on some sides, grey, next pueky yellow, then apricot, then deep dark red, then undercoat.

Finally finished sanding, vacuumed, then wet wiped down, then painted undercoat.

Then I looked at the clock at it was after 3pm, yep I was hungry, had lunch.

Tomorrow I will get two top coats on and that is one door down, and another 2 just like it to go.

Now scrubbing the door hinges to get the last of the paints off and have them gleaming silver looking.

Between coats tomorrow I will grout the bathroom walls.

Hmmmm, is that enough?

ummmmm skijacski,
why did you strip a steel door frame back to bare metal? :confused:

surely rubbing it back to remove flakey paint would be enough?
