If you go out and have a Probe (I always do), take a snow depth in a well known spot (pick a spot thats not a drift and not too exposed...a representative sample if you will!). Post it here alog with a description of surface conditions on particular aspects and it may help others plan trips!

A couple of pics would be nice too :D

I trekked out to the top of feathertop.

There was 0cm snow.. conditions were breezy and cool.

Actually it wasn't that bad a hike....maybe 30 minutes. Sure was better than going to the gym!

Bit of the r*** stuff last weekend (31 August), actually a lot, but followed up by light falls nearly every day this last week. BC skiing around Charlottes was a lot of fun. Firm in the mornings and sun affected in the afternoon, but choose your slope and there was some excellent skiing. Pictures later.

This weekend, the snow was very nice, but I love spring snow. Will post a photo later of Kozi cornice.

I might even do a timeline of Kozi as I seem to take photos of it each time.

Our group estimate is that about 1metre of snow was lost on the big wet Sunday.

Notice the huge slabs that have broken away from the cornice.
