I want to do some pages specifically for Overseas and need some feedback as to what people want to see. Some possibilities:
- Japan: links to forecasts, cam images, travel company adverts for deals
- Europe: links to forecasts, cam images, travel company adverts for deals
- Canada: links to forecasts, cam images, travel company adverts for deals
- USA: links to forecasts, cam images, travel company adverts for deals

We'd be keen for Japan weather info. Snowjapan is a pretty good site for general info but we've yet to find anything with weather charts or forecasts in english...
Also, some accommodation review sections for places would be great. There are so many options out there, its often hard to know what's cheap but a gem as opposed to what's just plain cheap!
Looking forward to seeing what you come up with though, because we find these forums really helpful when planning trips. Its always great to get first hand info about things rather than the blurb the travel agents quote.

I've got some links at home for Europe that I've been using recently, I'll send them through tonight at some point.
I really think reviews are great, and space to let us put our reviews in would be awesome!
reviews of accom, planes, everything!

reviews of accom, planes, everything! wow, that's a great idea Pods, would be sooo helpful! am currently looking at where to stay & eat and what to do in Japan and i must admit i am being completely overwhelmed!.....there's so much info online but no reviews as such....so it's hard to tell which is good.

With 2 kids under 9 who ski(we did Canada in Jan09 and loved it), info on how "kid friendly" o/s resorts are would be great - both for skiing and apres. We were considering Japan in Jan 2010, but just can't get enough info to feel totally comfortable taking the kids.
p.s. loving your snow forecasts this year!

Hey skimum,
Saw your post and although we have no kids, we did go to Niseko 2 years ago and Rusutsu. Rusutsu has a very Japanese program for the kids, and I'm not sure if any english is spoken in kids camp. Niseko, however, did "Aussie Ski" which was milo kids camp as we know it here, complete with the green milo vests.
Check out this link for some prices and info http://www.gendai.co.uk/ski/content/blogcategory/36/65/
Hope this helps..

Hey Frog,
This is the site we use to spy on the snow fall in Japan.
http://www.snowjapan.com/e/daily/webcam/index.html
Its pretty comprehensive. I've only really used Niseko and Rusutsu, and that was 2 years ago and they worked well then.
Cheers.

Don't mean to be rude but I've got no idea what you just said or what it has to do with this thread.
