Renting a car in Toronto

Haven't looked at any car prices like Hertz, but wondering who has rented a car before in Canada?

I am going to Toronto for a holiday and need to hire a car, will start searching later today, thought I would check for any wisdom ;)

Yep hired a car plenty of times , but to be quite honest all for business so i didnt check the prices.
Assume you will be having it for a longer term rental , better off you may need to get on the phone to them for longer rental deals ?
Most likely the cheaper ones are not based at Pearson airport so just get the bus into the city perhaps? Also there are a few e-tag type roads around so check out what that means for you as well, although its easy enough to avoid most of them so its not mandatory.
