LA Airport and ski bag question

How early can one check in ski bags for a flight? Our flight out to Sydney is at 11pm so Id love to check in the 3 ski bags in the morning so we can do the tourist thing in LA. Its either that or we dump them at a club and later try to find a cab.

Try a hotel nearby. They might let you use their storage facilities for a sizable tip

I'd guess all checkins are the same, and SFO you couldn't, there was no one around. You've got to put them through normal checkin first, before taking to oversize.

Canadian airports will store ski bags for $$$.

Not sure if security crazy US would do that???

Luckily there's a club nearby at Marina Del Rey we can use - free and no tipping - whilst we tour LA on the last day. And they'll drop us off at the airport after we dinner :D
