Given that credit card insurance policies do not cover car hire excess, I'm looking at travel insurance policies that supposedly cover (or short-cover) the excess on the hire car's insurance up to ... $3,000.
Surely that's not $3000 AUD - which is less than 2,000USD.
what is a typical amount of excess these days. Is it US$3,000 or $US4,000 or higher?
