Oops, better get the card and pressie for +1 upstairs - I'm finishing off a backlog then getting ready for 30 screaming teenagers at a party today. And gotta pack - Taxi and I are off tommorrow to cut a ribbon in Tahoe, hand oover a ceremonial boomerang, and work hard seeing resorts operations managers. Someone's gotta do it. :D

Only spent 3 hours with +1 this morning, most of that she spent getting ready to do 3 different kids parties today.
Soon I'm off to work to make sure all the tables of two are fed well and suitably dosed up on sparkly and red wine.
I wont see my valentine tonight, she will be at her mums with our Pink Princes. :(

Buggered! I went to visit one of my friends living in northern Honshu and I got very little sleep as a result :D A big night was ordered! Back in Hakuba now

Evening ;)

A long day: Mum's (80th) birthday, and she let slip that she was disappointed I would be away (in Brisbane picking up the new AA helicopter). I flew down to Melbourne Friday evening, then took a 2 hour motorbike ride to Redhill Saturday morning for the late lunch and watched whilst Dad got totally confused over the restaurant's booking having an extra seat at the table ;)

Worth it all to see the look on her face when I appeared, but a blooming long day with another 2 hour ride back late afternoon :D

Heli, think 'what can I give mum that's romantic AND tax deductible'. Uum, a heli ride maybe?

My aunt loved her heliride on her 80th to a surprise party at a winery. ;)
