A little stress relief, the sun came out a bit too much and the glare is bad. The high mountains though should now have there base of snow.

Back to the dollar side of things, I keep hearing on the news that Japan is talking of weakening their dollar so exports can once again become attractive to overseas buyers.

Also if the Yen becomes more affordable, those still thinking about a holiday to the Japan pow will be tempted to say yes.

It was a nice jump yesterday after the US dropped their rates.

from aac's newsletter for anyone interested in suxing and seeing.

‘Try before you buy’ offer
The lodge is great shape thanks to the efforts of Toa, Manu and Jack, but ‘potential members’ who haven’t stayed there before can’t easily judge just how good it is. For a limited period, guests staying at the lodge can have the difference between the guest accommodation rate and the member accommodation rate (up to a maximum of ten days) refunded if they join AAC Niseko within twelve months of staying at the lodge. This offer is based on a similar membership program used by one of the Australian-based AAC projects.

It was doing so well yesterday but alas, down it went again today by 2 cents back to .70 for 1 AUS. 68 Yen yesterday for 1 AUS but now back down to 65.
