I've heard there's a chart to work out binding positioning and din set up. Can someone link me to it please?

depends a lot on:
- the type of bindings
- the type of ski
- the type of skiing
- height, weight, age etc
as well as personal preference... for example on my park skis i use 7 but for backcountry i use 11. what and where will you be skiing?

I think he is asking for a link to the Tyrolia DIN chart that someone mentioned on here a few days ago, in this thread.

I don't know what the link is myself as I have a chart here that I use.

Here is the 07/08 Tyrolia Tech Manual:
http://www.tyrolia.com/certification/dls0708/Techn.Manual.english.pdf
(Right click, save-as)
If you don't have Tyrolia/Head/Elan etc bindings, I can probably get you the manual for other manufacturers..
NB: Not saying you don't know what you are doing, but based on your post it almost sounds like you don't..
You are strongly advised to take your gear to a shop and get the bindings adjusted professionally.
Screwing it up and blowing your knee doesn't outweigh the few $$ you will pay a shop tech.

jesters... thinking of upgrading to dukes for my euro trip... not crazy about the toe tho. looks like a horse shoe. 11 scares me, but my bootfitter assures me i won't die

I'll buy your jesters :D
Dukes are a solid AT rig - don't let the toe put you off

yehh i know i shouldn't care about aesthetics (although i did just splash a weeks wages on p10s because they were blue) but i don't know... i do want to get into touring tho while i'm in europe, would be amazing. also need to decide on a touring ski... but this is a massive thread hijack

just bought some anthems!!... picking them up next week... so excited (the p10s are for them). have/had prophet100s as my bc weapon, with the jesters, but only got to use them once and then a mate left them in aspen. judas. thinking along the arg/ant/ep line for my tourer/bc but want to wait to see how my anthems handle aus first. what about you?

Trying to score some 09's but i'd settle for 08s.
Anthems should be fine for groomers - softish but super fun!

i saw the motherships!! Line is going crazy... in a good way.
yeh, i know, i got lucky. (ie. the guy who lost my prophets is bringing some anthems back with him for me). haven't found anywhere in Aus that stocks them (a few places will order them in, but you won't see them til october...) so i don't feel so bad about not supporting the local retailers, besides i think i keep a couple of them in business over summer anyways.
i'll let you know how they go!
