Have been doing the obligatory research on packs for up to two days overnight backcountry and would appreciate constructive critique on fabric, size, versatility and anything else considered pertinent:
Marmot 'Eiger 65'; seems a little too lightwieght construction and surprisingly small for a 65 litre capacity.
Black Diamond 'Revelation' 45 Litre; This seems to be the bees knees but cannot find any retail in Sydney that stocks Black Diamond packs.
Mountain Designs 'Foxlight'; felt more comfortable than the 'Eiger 65'.
Thanks in advance.

Macpac. Try the Ascent (JD has this) and Ascent XPD (Taxman's pack). Tough as and plenty of room.

The Macpac Ascent weighs 2kg and is bullet proof. At 65L it is a great size.....also, Macpac is on sale everywhere right now!
