I’ve got panoramic views of the NZ Alps from the boardroom where I’ll spend all my time today and tomorrow before flying home again.
Life’s cruel, why’s the mountains there and I’m stuck in here?!

Don't worry, I'm sure you'll get to come back, then you'll have leave and some money to spend ;)
Just keep working !!
At one of my last jobs I had photos of snow all over my cubicle, couldn't see the fabric lol !!

I've got a view of a white pole and the two managers above me in our line of reporting.
Maybe Swede suggest that your meeting would be better held.... say in a quiet corner at a choice restaurant somewhere up on the slopes of a nearby NZ ski resort. Of course then you will have to ski to get to and from the restaurant tongue.gif ;)

Thats it, team building!
How could skiing followed by a serious apre ski session not be considered as just about the best form of team building. You can do the meeting and decision making stuff on the lifts, or something like that.

I wanted to do skiing team building but it was a NO due to business risk.
Imagine if half the team broke a bone or something, the business would not run lol !!

I love how people who have never been to the snow always assume you will spend the whole time with them on the bunny slopes ;)
No friends on a powder day ;)

no, I wouldn't end up teaching them, in the unlikely event it happened, everyone who needed it would be in lessons leaving me to ski with whoever is good enough, or by myself! :D

Could work well in my group, if we selectively choose who was coming rather than include everyone!

Swede, are you in Christchurch? There are plenty of club fields within 2 hours drive and of course Mt Shutt. If you are really time poor there is this mob (http://www.wildernessheli.co.nz/) that do heli-skiing and will fly you (40 mins) from Christchurch to their heli base (I'm going in September  )
