phone scam? anyone else seen this before

laying in bed last night crying after the footy and my phone (which i never use anymore as i have a work one and only keep it on to save the number) gets a message. it is from an 85207 number i suspect somewhere in HKG telling me that i am going to be killed unless i email this really obscure email address. i know it is a scam but it has kind of freaked out my wife. you would love to get some one on one time with these grubs. :mad:

awww........don't cry~ at least u didn't pay close to a hundred bucks to go to the game to sit in the cold for 2 hours.....with nothing much to cheer for.........all the while sitting next to and in front of some QLD supporters! :(

anyhoo, that's nasty! if you can even be bothered u should set up a fake email address and email that obscure email address u got and abuse them! or try and track down that number via the phone company....

thats pretty extreme for a scam, although its good that the authorities are on to it pretty quickly, lets just hope that they can be caught
