As a first time Hotham visitor I was wondering if they were cool to deal with as they offer a discount on hire if you hire chains off them. Any tips appreciated.. smile.gif

Dealt with them a few times, great service and very friendly.

If you get your chains off them, they fit them for free when you head up the hill too.

And a discount on ski hire when you get to the top if you rented chains and your mountain pass from there. They have an outlet next to the bus terminal at the top so you dont have to lug gear up and down the mountain. Good gear too!

Only comment I have. A had to be there story is that they did have chains to fit the Lexuuurs.

However the guy that was going to fit them was about 5 kms or more further up the hill from where I was madly sliding off it!!! Listen to the chain fitting instructions, you may need them earlier than you thought.
