Yeah a Prado but if I won't be able to get anything interesting out of it with the bad weather might go the Alpine Way instead.

if you can concentrate for 17 hrs coming down Chunky you should be able to concentrate for the few hours on the Barry Way!!!!
It would be slick on a day like today but beautiful country down through that way.
Low cloud and fog etc will limit views but that would be the same on Alpine Way too

I'm guessing 4WD would be maybe not necessary today but probably and extra safety feature on a day like today
Alpine way you would not need 4wd at all I wouldn't think unless this current band drops 15cm up high in the next hr or so
