Snow Princess was out training this morning, on the front "lawn" then I went for a walk out on the Columbia River.

I took about 40 pics and the hardest part is working out which ones to post as my upload is so slow!!!

I wish our place had 360 degree windows because we have 360 degree views!!! This is out the back of our place, the driveway.

Yep, I stop and take in the view every day before I drive out... I could never, ever get sick of this place, I wish we could stay here forever graemlins/snow_cool.gif

I'm guessing they are uploaded to facebook?

I can't see any of them.

:(

That may be a good thing though.

Yes, they are on facebook. I can post here from Facebook and Picasa, but I've got them on Facebook so our friends can see what we are up to etc.

It's starting to get dark here, time to head off to the climbing gym.

I'm an hour ahead of Yeti's time.

Looks great BJ. :D graemlins/big_laugh.gif I sat for a couple of minutes with my finger hovering over the click...went away, checked out other threads (yawn, what's everyone doing? whatever it is, they're not doing it on Snowatch...)...came back, hovered, felt knot in throat and clicked.

Though it has to be said, this was very pleasurable self torture, thanks BJ.

I know I've known you on here for a long time, and have followed your story ad hoc over the last 18 months, but would you mind doing a little summary of how you came to be there, and why you can't stay?

I know princess skis, but what exactly is her competition area. I remember some cross country shots of you as well, but you compete in something too yes?

Just a summary when you've got a few minutes, no need for an essay.

Legs

BJ is a very supportive mother of a very talented cross country skier/ athlete and because we have no snow in our summer she has to travel for the dream to continue of Snow Princess competing in the Olympics. They are aiming for the next Russian one I believe

BJ can fill in the blanks or talk up anything else ;)

Where are you based BJ?

You should have a look at Lussier Hot Springs just south of Canal Flats for something very nice.
