Another great day on the mountain

Didn’t look great pulling in to the car park this morning and the first few hours was pretty bad visibility and soft sloppy snow. Then around lunch the sun came out and it was all good. Skied around Mt P all day and had a great time. When the sun came out and we could actually see where we were going we headed out back of Eyre and was fronted by a whole mountain coated in about 10cm (more in spots) of “soft butter” snow and not a track to be seen graemlins/woohoo.gif
It wasn’t fast but great fun to carve it all up with absolutely no one else around.
Now if someone is thinking of heading over there tomorrow, don’t worry about it, it’s all tracked out and not worth the trip ;)

Shame you weren't here. We had a freeze snap and an inch an hour fell. Powder. Real Powder. Then the sun came out, and Grollo handed out free beer and money. Gee I wish I had pics, Swede, coz no-one'll believe me ... or you graemlins/big_laugh.gif

Well Vet, not sure about ur freeze snap and free beer, but the back of Mt p this arvo really surprised me. Little Swede kept pestering me to get out the back and god knows I’m glad I gave in. Must have been the small amount of snow we’ve had over the last few days up top combined with the hot wet weather softening up the underlying snow, and no one heading out there. But it was an awesome site and great fun to ski.
