I'm taking advantage of the cooler weather and thunderstorms and have lamb shanks in the oven with some cumin, paprika, tumeric and nutmeg with potato, lemon and onion.

set on 100 and should be ready in another 2-3 hours :D

Ooooo nice poddy.

Still full from my pork knuckle but made a mega batch of spaghetti bog to freeze. Packed in the veggies, pork, veal and beef mince so it will be a one pot dinner.

My oven and stove get ripped out next week and I have over a month of take away and camp stove cookery ahead :-( blerrrr. For a girl who escapes into cooking, no kitchen leaves only wine an chocolate for relaxation...oh and mr legs when he's not working!

:( you got a BBQ? maybe you need a bbq with a wok burner? that might help a bit smile.gif we survived using a bbq during a 5 day blackout at mum and dad's once. the wok burner saved the day!

dream of your new stove, was it a steam oven you mentioned the other day in here somewhere? and how good the new kitchen will be smile.gif and indulge in the extra time to play... ;)
