Free Optus SIM

I don't know if this will help anyone, but Optus are giving away sim cards (Normally $4)..... might be good if you wanted a spare service. I always keep a spare handset with a prepaid sim and charger in my car in case I need it for emergency (and don't have my normal phone with me)

I think you might have to put money on it, but you could put say $10 on it !

Thanks Yeti, I am already an Optus customer but I also keep a spare phone in the car (it runs on AA batteries) but no sim.

No need to buy any extra credit unless you want the free 500sms on offer.

It's oldish, I'm not sure what it is and don't have my car for a few weeks.

I knew, taking AA, never to get rid of it. Every know and then I put batteries in to check it still works. I haven't tried it with a 3G card yet.
