I order a new helmet off ebay (the same as my old one) and then thought it would be nice to get the speaker earmuff things so I bought them off a web site in the states. Both are the same brand,Leedom, model Vandal and size but the studs on the helmet and speaker earmuffs are different sizes only slightly. I have been trying to find the same stud size as the helmet so I can change the earmuff speaker studs. I have been to Lincraft, Spotlight and bunnings but no one has the right size. Anybody know where I can go to a place that might have them or a way that I can stretch open the speaker earmuff studs as they are only just too small.
have you tried clarke rubber?

have you contacted the website you purchased the ear muffs from?
Are they compatible ear muffs for that model helmet? If yes, then it's a manufacturing fault. less hassle for you to just send em back and get a new set!

they may have a disty of the product here who might be nice enough to deal with it for a fee which would be less hassle than running around trying to find the right push studs, doesn't mean shipping it back to where ever it was bought from.
they are ear muffs, shipping would be a few bucks!
try a saddlery as well, or a saddle repair place. they tend to have all sorts of stuff

Have you tried a motorbike store?
They've usually got a repair department.
Also people who make marquees or canvass places would be able to point you in the right direction. Caravans/boating world also come to mind...
Let us know how you go but try a Harley motorbike specialist first, they know everything n anything...
If all else fails, try these guys, they're Australian and if they don't know, no one will...

Cheers
 Shann will not deal with the general public, and there is a better than average chance they would not know
If you can post a picture of what your looking for I might have some. Sounds like you are after the smaller size of press stud. If that is the case I can point you in the right direction. :D

Knowing chicco HE WONT... God so easy to make the call, or just go buy new studs for both helmet and earmuffs. But bloody italians always have to do things the hard way smile.gif
