Just got out my 2 way radios. They are kinda rubberised and the outside is all sticky. I have tried metho and eucalyptus oil. Slightly better but still sticky. Any suggestions?

Maybe the rubber has deteriorated?
Might not come off.
I'd try orange cleaner, or whatever you'd use to clean the base of your board/skis

disolve it... its like orange cleaner stuff.. use it at work to get the price tags and sticky stuff off...

otherwise if theyre old.. might be like butter said.. the rubber may be dying

Sounds like the rubber has perished!

Tea Tree Oil was the winner.

I think it was perishing. Now it is kind of back to plastic, with no rubberised outside. Looks as clean and new as the day I bought it!
