she's probably still partying!!
hapy one s
Jax celebrated it back when there was enough snow to ski out to DHG. spit, champas, the whole shindig in a special place with a select group of people.
Haven't seen her for a while, she buzzed by while doing renos upstairs a couple of weeks back, I didn't get to say G'day at the time, I do know she's very busy atm and knowing her style I hope she had a litte birthday drink with some very fine food.
Happy birthday sjs. I hope all is finding you well.
You did sound rushed last week. Come back to Thredbo it's not the same without you.

Thanks everyone, yep been super busy in Canberra, been working for +1 as he has gone through another PA, I have now taken over the position and the hiring of a new Executive Assistant, who starts on 11th January 2010.
For my birthday, my parents and +1 have bought me a trip of a life time, I am off to Antartica on 14th January, on the Orion, start in Hobart and finish in NZ - 21 day voyage, Junior Suite all to myself and I am stoked!
Will be taking my art gear and hope to borrow a friends camera who has some very new gear and massive zoom lens.
So - yep I had the best, and I am really, really looking forward to it. :)
PS - dont like this new format, harder to see where things are.

jax, is this a "significant" birthday? (not that you're not worth it every year I'm sure...)
can't wait to see some the works you produce after that trip! You should refresh some of the newer snowatchers with some of your pics so they understand just how special this trip will be (not that it could get much specialer (my word of the day)for even an average legs!)

Hi all, yep Legs, a 50th!
To go on the trip you have to have a medical and certificate from your doctor, all the medication you can think you may need, and I am a very good sailor, special boots, so I splashed out on my favorite website for the kneehigh waterproof boots, which will be too big but you wear lots of sox with them.
Some new favourite Merrill slipper type clog, sheepskin lined, and another pair of high -40 boots for the less wet landings on the Antartic snow.
I will hopefully have internet, they say they can provide it.
Next shopping day will be for reading books and those art supplies I just dont have but MUST have. ;)
Looking forward to the cooler weather.
