View Full Version : toyota corrolla and ski bags
Do 185cm ski bags fit in a 2007-2009 model Corrolla? (There's a really cheap small rental company near LAX and SFO but they only have Corrollas - and staff who don't answer the question.

They should if you fold down the front seat and lay the bags down that way, Or you can buy yourself a pair of soft roof racks that you could take with you. I bought my pair of Ocean and Earth soft racks for like 40 bucks a couple of years ago.

or you might be able to fold the back seat down and push them through from the boot.

Does the ski bags have wheels Vet?
If so, you may be able to attach them a tow bar. :D
Thanks. The soft racks look like a nice fall back in case Mrs Vet thinks her front passenger seat is too squeezy. (And no I won't tie her the roof rack. Chains are stronger)
The velocity 'special page' looks interesting: 47,000 points for a return eco flt from Mel or Sydney to LA for departures in the last week or so of March and, eg, returning 5th April.

Is it a wagon or sedan?
I could fit 2m skis in my Subaru wagon with the back seat split.
U could just fold the bag in half i mean who skis anyways graemlins/outtahere.gif

47,000 seems like a deal!

Brumby, I think its the nomal sedan with the split back seat but I'm getting those window-hanger ski racks just in case. The car and all insurance thru supercheap is half as cheap as the Rav4 that Taxi & I had thru Hurts Rentacar. And given that rental 4wd don't have snow tyres so one needs to fit chains anyway, I figure a 2wd will be fine.
Ski Carriers in Camberwell only had the normal racks so we'll buy those magnetic roof racks from Pauls Ski Shop instead of those window hangereronerers for use on the rental Corrolla.
