View Full Version : how much ?
is a pot in your mountain's hotels and bars.
Is it reasonable to pay
- $7.50 for a pot of CUB and Boags,
- $7 for a stubby of Boags,
- $7.50 for Little Creatures, Fat Yak Pale Ale;
- $7.50 for a stubby of Japan's Asati?
A Schooner of Boags at Thredbo bistro is $4.70 ($4.30) at smile.gif hour.
A case of Boags is $70
A case of T New is $47.95
Can of Jim Beam in The Schuss = $8
A double Frangelico with Lime on the rocks-Schuss price $15

Is 2009 a very good year for beer?
WOULD NOT PAY $7.50 FOR CARLTON.
Actually, maybe I would just so I could throw it in their face before walking out and never returning.
$7.50 for CUB is just the most stupid thing I have ever heard.

That is expensive!! I don't drink but I resent that I have to pay $5 for a hot chocolate - apparently I have to pay an extra 50c because I drink skim and not full fat.

$7.50 for a pot? They're kidding.. how much profit would they make out of that?!
Not much profit if it doesn't sell.
Popping in to see CUB Marketing's boss. My nephew wants Lil Vet's old ski boots. ;)

There is not a hope in hell i would even consider paying $7.50 for a pot of carlton, much rather drinks something else thats gunna give me less of a headache the next morning.
I have never really found the prices at the snow for beer to be that bad untill i heard that. I know a couple of years ago i was working a living in torquay for a few months and the pub there was more expensive than the snow!!
Thanks for the feedback.
Any pot at $7.50 doesn't compare to
the 2nd bar's beer at $5 for Cascade, Pilsner; UDL bottle $7; Candian Club or Smirnoff Black $8; Jagermeister $6 shot; Jagerbomb $8
Delatite Pinot Gris $7.50
Blue Sands Merlot, Shiraz or CabSav $6
Yellowglen Sparkling $7.50
Corona, Asanti or Peroni $7.50 stubbie
Vodka $7-9$
Wild Turkey $7
Makers Mark $8
Jack Daniels $9
Tanquey $8
I need to do a bar crawl as a 'mystery shopper'.

Asahi you mean Vet ?
I've paid $9.50 before in some exxy Sydney places ..
$7 - $9 is reasonable
Ooops, Yeti. My Japanese isn't very good.
Snowatchers on the 2-for-1 Jetstar flights should drink Asahi on their cheap flights to Tocumwal. ;)
