Will there be snow

So I've already finalized my holiday to NZ this year in July....... can't wait, pretty sure there will be snow there.

I'm thinking of also going to perisher or thredbo however the only time i have available is in the second round of uni holidays so september 28 - october 5. I can get on mountain accommodation for quite cheap but as i have never snowboarded in Australia I don't know what the chance of there still being snow is? any Ideas?

I would say there will be snow on the ground in the snowmaking areas, but it will be slushy. That is unless we have the bestestest season ever graemlins/woohoo.gif

Yeh what Karen said.

If your happy with snowmaking areas than Perisher should give you a few options at that time. Unless its a crap season much of Mt P often stays skiable late in the season and that should be even more so this year with Front Valley now linked all the way to Mt Perisher with snowmaking.
