Stimulus Package getting us out of recession?!

I see Rudd is singing about his stimulus package getting us out of recession. Economy grew 0.4% in the Jan-Mar quarter which was nice to hear.

However given the $900 stimulus package arrived in April (ie. AFTER the Jan-Mar quarter), I am wondering how his claim is justified? *puzzled*

Oh and he doesn't mention the money wasted on people who have passed away or aren't even living in Australia!!!

Remind me to lodge tax returns for every beneficiary in the trust. They include every conceivable relative going back to Adam & Eve.(Dead people need money too y'know). ;)
