My kitchen bench is in!! Yay. The dishwasher oven and steam oven are connected but I'm not allowed to use until sign off next Thursday!!! It's like staring at a Christmas tree as a kid and waiting til I can break all my toys.

Then so nobody knows about it you'll have to destroy all the evidence by eating it all yourself.

All I did was find 2 extra ski weeks over Xmas to 9 January for the low price of $250pp (the change fee on rewards seats). That dovetails right into our trip of 9-31st January.


I better make something nice for dinner. Quick, I need a steak recipe

If she's going too, I'm not sure why you'd be fearing for your life??? Maybe you could divorce her and take me instead?

As for steak, I like to keep it simple. Smear the meat with a little oil, sprinkle with a little sea salt and ground black pepper and fry in a hot pan. Cook to your liking, then set aside. Add a little olive oil to the pan and on a medium heat fry up some onions. When they're soft add a splash of balsamic vinegar and a teaspoon of brown sugar. Toss and allow everything to caramalise. By this time the steak should be well rested. Spoon the onions over the top and serve with salad and some crusty bread or baby potatoes.
