After writing a cranky email about some truly offensive cinema music before Madagascar two, Hoyts finally called today to offer apologies.
The manager of Hoyts Westfield Chatswood said it had taken him a while to find the song in question as they have over 7000 songs playing on a loop. While he couldn't explain how this tune made it into the loop, he did agree that it was totally offensive to any age group (yes, even I cringe at being called a mother f er, while Snowbrat is now more preoccupied with what F means if one does it to ones mother...).
As a result, he tells me Hoyts have pulled all their "loop" music until it can be appropriately rated for all age groups and ratings.
