am having trouble with the snow condition report~ :(

the only one i've been able to watch is the very first one he did.......and i had to see it via youtube.....

since then i've not seen the youtube link on the site..... :confused: how did i lose the youtube link? is it there and i just don't see it?

I think I need to delete and reload the site on the server, it may have some useless files sitting there-I'll do it now, the site may be offline for half an hour.

Lift's not open today, the rumor mill is suggesting some runs will open tomorrow, probably only Friday Flat. There has also been activity up at Merrits so it wont be long-the weekend looks really promising. The lifties are all talking about a slide tomoz ;) If Kosi Express runs I'll be on it with or without my board to do the report. A light dry powder was coating every thing this morning. I'll have 20seconds of video on the site when it reloads.

just checked the Thredbo website and it says....

Easy Does It and two snowrunners to open Thursday, with Cruiser to open Friday with access via Merritts Chairlift. Maybe High Noon on the weekend if these cold temps allow snowmaking to continue.

Snowmaking fired up at midnight last night and hasn't stopped since.Also, looks like the snowmen have taken up residency...a few of the local kids had a great time building snow figurines in the fresh snow around the village.

Please keep letting me your issues with the site. Unless I'm told I don't know there is a problem.

I do check it after changes are made, on mac and PC; IE, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari. Even though I don't have any home internet.

Oh, it was open! I rode the chair up - the video shows it.

I am the first person to ride an open ski run in Thredbo. graemlins/snowboard2.gif

The time it takes to get my video on the site is improving. It took 2 attempts today but the second go took 40 min.


BTW thanks for giving some light while I was on the dark side foxpuppet. ;)

How do i fix it when the page isn't refreshing? ie on firefox it is still showing saturday's vid..

I know you told me before - but I forgot and I thought i would post it here in case anyone else is having the same prob.

Empty the browser cache.

or

click in the address bar and resend - it should reload the page from scratch.

or

check my home page, it now has my most recent video. I'm reconfiguring the snow conditions page to have many short videos so I can get them up sooner. I want them up by 9am not sometime between 12 and 3pm.
