I am making -

Maple Bacon and Egg Toast Tarts
Crepes with Lemon and Sugar

Any other great ideas?

Was thinking of an Apple and Passionfruit Shortcake.

Or should I make Friands instead?

Hey Xena...
Try my tried and tested "McDonalds" hotcakes:
300g Self Raising Flour
3 eggs
300ml milk
3 tblspn sugar
a bloody good dash of vanilla essence

Wizz with a wizzer, fry, watch them puff then cover in butter and good quality maple syrup...

A Navy favourite... should be enough for 4 people. If you want more, just up everything by 1,2,3...

a pile of fresh strawberries hulled.

a bowl of extremely good yoghurt (king island if you can get it) totally covered with a liberal, thick shake of brown sugar about an hour before they come. By breaky time, the sugar has melted into the yoghurt and it is scrummy with pancakes or strawbs.

A tray of slow roasted baby or roma tomatoes.

bloody marys

fruit punch (apple juice, white grape juice, mango or tropical juice, bottle bubbly and or bottle mineral water, ice, chopped fruit.

Now I am hungry for breakfast before I have had dinner !!!!!! :D No...my parents are coming down from Brissie - Dad's been very unwell (heart and nerve issues) and is in a deep depression, quality of life going down the gurgler at 63yrs of age, so want to make it a nice brunch for them.

Little girl? She's hiding inside a much fatter one! However, after this brunch, the fat one is gonna start getting serious - been researching boot camp.
